Organizers, this year will opt to have a virtual event this year for the Canadian Dairy XPO and are incorporating as much as they can to get the feel of a real in-person event.
The event going virtual going online means Stratford won’t be hosting. Despite the lack of a host, Canadian Dairy XPO founder and general manager Jordan Underhill said he’s committed in ensuring support for the city of Stratford and bringing the event back in-person for 2022 so long as it will be safe to do so.
Underhill says this virtual event will stand out from others, to make you feel as if you’re at the event as much as possible, the days will be run like any other XPO in years past. When someone logs onto the virtual show they’ll be zoomed into a Google Earth view of Stratford and travel through the show as you would normally.
Organizers are working with Stratford BIA and local businesses to highlight the area and hope to see some benefit to business which the event typically brings every year.
Stratford Mayor Dan Mathieson says its great to still have the event tied with the city and is excited to know the event will be back for 2022 and keep local shops booming as they normally would during the Canadian Dairy XPO.
