Canadian Border Opens for Vaccinated U.S Citizens

Border reopened midnight on Sunday

The Canadian border is open for non-essential United States travelers.

Those wishing to come into Canada must ensure they are fully vaccinated with a Health Canada approved vaccine.

Approved vaccines include Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca and Johnson & Johnson.

Travelers must also have allowed at least 14 days to pass since their last dose and show proof of a negative COVID-19 test which is no more than 72 hours old as well as use the ArriveCAN app or online portal to upload vaccine details.

The Federal government currently has a plan to allow vaccinated travelers from outside the United States into the country for non-essential travel as of September 7th.
