Russel Martin is among the names being listed in this years Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame 2024 class in St Marys.
Martin, born in East York in 1983 spent the a chunk of his season with the Toronto Blue Jays who joined in 2014 as part of his 14 season career which began in 2006 with the LA Dodgers.
In his sophomore campaign he was honoured wit his first all star game selection, a silver slugger award, gold glove award and the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame’s Tip O’Neil Award.
Jimmy Key, Ashley Stephenson, Rod Heisler, Paul Godfrey and Howard Birnie were among the other names listed for the 2024 class.
