Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame makes 3-year commitment to Jays Care Foundation

Their contribution will be used to cover the cost of one young ballplayer a year to play on newly minted Roy Halladay Field at Highview Park in Toronto.

The Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum announced today that it was making a three-year commitment to the Jays Care Foundation.

Their contribution will be used to cover the cost of one young ballplayer a year to play on the newly minted Roy Halladay Field at Highview Park, officially unveiled in Toronto today.

Jeremy Diamond, Chair of the Board of Directors at the Hall said in the statement that they are glad to be able to support the great work of the Jays Care Foundation adding that with Roy being a Hall of Fame person and player this is a great opportunity for them to be involved by supporting children sot hey can play.

Roy Halladay was inducted into the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame back in 2017 after a spectacular 12 seasons with the Toronto Blue Jays.
