After months of losses, Statistics Canada is reporting a rise in jobs for the month of February, with a big increase happening in Ontario.
259,000 jobs were added last month. The national unemployment rate to 8.2 percent, the lowest its been since March of 2020.
The biggest gains came from retail, accommodation and food service in Ontario. The employment rate for the province increased by 1.4 percent as more of the province opens up.
