While getting more COVID-19 doses has been a struggle for the country over the past few weeks, Canada will be getting a large boost as the federal government will ramp up delivery of the Pfizer vaccine this week.
More than 400,000 doses are expected this week with another 475,000 on the way. The Public Health Agency of Canada says the country will receive nearly 450,000 per will until the start of April when Pfizer will have fulfilled their contract to have 4 million doses delivered by the end of March.
Moderna has shipped 80 percent of their promised amount, shipping 180,000 doses last week.
