Canadian Centre Caitlin Kraemer set the record for the fastest hat trick at the event and the first four-goal performance by a player in a gold-medal game.

She also set a Canadian record for the most goals in a single U18 tournament.

The final score was also record setting in the IIHF as the greatest goal differential.
