It’s set to be a pretty busy Saturday in Palmerston. Both the Strawberry Social and Raleway Festival will be taking place throughout the day.
Starting with the Strawberry Social from 9am-1pm as part of the Minto Farmers Market.
Erin Raftis, Minto’s Marketing and Community Development Coordinator says, there is plenty to see and do for the morning.
“There will be over 30 vendors, including the regular farm, bakery and produce plus a huge selection of artisan craft vendors. We’ll also be selling strawberry shortcakes while supplies last and we’ll have live music and lots of strawberry themed activities for families and kids.” said Raftis
The Raleway Festival follows shortly after from 12-4pm at the Railway Heritage Museum with a variety of local craft breweries, cideries, distilleries, food vendors and more.
“We’ll have 9 different beverage vendors with tokens costing $2 to try their specialty brews.”
