The group of women who set the goal of doing the most chest to ground burpees over the span of 12 hours has now been officially sanctioned by Guinness World Records.
Ashley Crabb, Katie Battams, Corrie Boer, Alison Brown, Leona Ottens and Angelika Veens all broke the record at New U in Listowel last August.
The record set also was in memory of Leona Ottens husband, Matt who died in a boating accident at Conestogo Lake last June.
Each team member was required to do the burpees one at a time to reach the goal of over 10,000.
A total of 10,034 was complete over the course of 12 hours.
