Given the success from Brussels 150th homecoming held last summer, over $60,000 has been donated to local groups and as seed money for the next committee for another homecoming event.
The homecoming committee saw a total of $74,005 in profit which they are giving back to keep it all local.
With $16,000 keeping as the seed money, other groups seeing the benefits includes Brussels Minor Ball, the Brussels Firefighter Association, Huron and Area Search and Rescue as well as the Brussels, Morris and Grey Community Centre among many more.
