Bruce Power donates to preserve habitat in North Bruce Peninsula

Company has donated a total of $195,000 since 2015 to the cause

 

Bruce Power announced in a press release today that the company has provided $60,000 to the Nature Conservancy of Canada to support the acquisition of 395 acres of ecologically important habitat on Britain Lake in the Northern Bruce Peninsula.

The property, which is 30 kilometers east of Tobermory near Georgian Bay, connects to other conservation properties owned by the Bruce Trail Conservancy. All together the lands create a conservation corridor of over 1100 acres along the Niagara Escarpment.

This donation brings Bruce powers donation to $195,000 since 2015 in support of land conservation and conservation planning efforts.
