Brett Garbutt has been hired as the new commissioner of the Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League.
Garbutt, who brings in years of experience working in junior hockey, believes the league will continue to grow and develop young hockey players and act as a great opportunity of growth.
In a release, GOJHL Chairman, Scott Miller says “We are highly confident in Brent’s ability to navigate the needs of the league and provide integral solutions and innovations.”
The league, which homes the Listowel Cyclones has not seen any regular season action due to pandemic since having to cancel their postseason last March.
