All is ready this weekend for another year of Breakfast on the Farm in Wellington County.
Hosted at Harrcroft Acres in Fergus, the annual event welcomes all to enjoy breakfast, take part in various activities and tour a local dairy farm and learn all about where your food comes from.
Going on June 21st from 9am-noon tickets are available at $15 for adults, $10 for children aged 6-12 and those under 5 being free.
Janet Harrop from Harrcroft Acres says its the connection with farmers which makes experiences such as this and farm to table so unique and popular.
“Dairy operation have a huge trickle down economic impact from suppliers and everything so understanding the complexity of a dairy farm and being able to have people come and interact and see that. It’s something generally that they are not exposed to.” said Harrop.
Breakfast on the Farm is also run in partnership with the Fergus Agricultural Society and Optimist Club of Alma.
