A 30 year old has been charged following a break in. Wellington County OPP responded to the break in at a home in Mapleton on Fourth Line on February 21st at around 1:15am.
It was reported two people had broken into a home and fled on foot.
Police later responded and located two stolen vehicles near the home, a beige pick up from Wallenstein and a white SUV from London.
One person was found and arrested. Later on the same day at 5:45pm, police responded to a theft on Clyde Street in Elora where a bike was stolen with OPP eventually finding the suspect.
The 30 year old was charged with Break and Enter, Theft Under $5000, Mischief and two counts of Theft of a Motor Vehicle.
The accused will appear in Guelph court next month.
