Huron County OPP continue to investigate a motor vehicle collision which occurred Friday night near Ethel.
At around 11pm on Friday, OPP responded to Ethel Line after receiving information a vehicle had left the roadway and entered the Maitland River.
OPP Underwater Search & Recovery Unit and Urban Search and Rescue were joined alongside Chemical Biological, Radiological Nuclear and Explosives Response Team to assist with recovery.
At around 6pm on Saturday, officers were able to locate a lone deceased occupant from the vehicle.
The deceased has been identifed as 32 year old Jose Ariza-Guidiel of Huron East.
Ethel Line has since reopened.
