The Boards of the Huron Bay and North Wellington Co-Operatives have voiced their support and are recommending to the farmers who are also owners of the two orgaizations to proceed with the combining of the two entities.
The merger as stated in the press release that announced the decision, will better serve the co-operatives by combining counties and regions.
The membership of the new entity will feature more than 8500 rural farmers and residents and will serve Huron, Bruce, Wellington and Grey Counties.
