The Blyth Community Better group have been given the green light to bring their residents a chance to ring in the New Year together.
Blyth will end off the year with a fireworks display at the Blyth Campgrounds to raise the spirits of local residents. Annie Spalding, chair of Blyth Community Betterment says its the support they’ve received is what is making this all possible.
“It’s really shows the support we have from Bruce Power who really cares about communities to gather safely as well as support from North Huron and the volunteers from Blyth Community Betterment. All those 3 working together is very much appreciated. ” said Spalding.
“We’re saying goodbye to 2020 and hopeful for 2021. We’re stronger together and not alone.”
All social distance protocols will be followed. Residents will enter in the camp ground from Gypsy Line and exit on Highway 25. The fireworks start at 5:30 on New Years Eve and will be visible from surrounding streets.
