Bill C208 has passed its third reading.
Bill C208 will allow farm families to transfer the business to the next generation of farmers at a better feasible tax rate.
The act to amend the income tax act transfer for farm of fishing corporations to a family member saw a 199-128 vote.
The bill was sparked by Conservative MP Bill Maguire.
