Huron-Bruce MP Ben Lobb sent thanks for support yesterday on the event of the passing of Bill C-234 from Committee and into the House of Commons for a 3rd Reading.

The bill would amend the Greenhouse Gas Pollution Pricing Act and exempt the carbon tax from natural gas and propane used on farms to produce food both domestically and internationally.

Huron-Bruce MPP Lisa Thompson took the chance as well to thank Minister Lobb for the tremendous achievement.

She added that farmers in Huron & Bruce and across Canada would very much appreciate his efforts to offset the impact of the carbon tax on agriculture.
