It was a record setting year for the number of permits for new residential units across Wellington County.
In 2022, 853 new residential building permits were issued setting a new record from 814 just a year prior.
The permits themselves saw 481 of them being for single homes, 178 for row houses, 110 for semi detached and 84 for apartments or condominiums.
Centre Wellington topped the list with 426 permits issued.
This was followed behind by Wellington North at 244, Minto with 64 and Mapleton at the bottom with 24 permits.
