On January 28th members of the Dufferin County OPP Major Crime Unit and Wellington County OPP Major Crime Unit with the assistance of the Child Exploitation Unit and Forensics Unit executed a search warrant at a Belwood residence stemming from 2 unrelated investigations in December 2020.
As a result of this investigation, police have arrested and charged a 38 year old male resident of Belwood with Possession of Child Pornography, luring a person under 16 years of age by means of telecommunication and distributing child pornography.
