For the time being, before and after school programs have been put on hold at Maryborough Public School.
While programming had been offered since the start of the school year, its seen a lack of participation which has made the call to put the programs on pause.
First introduced after the success of before and after school programs at Drayton Heights Public School last year, there is still hope to have it return to Maryborough next fall.
Mapleton staff will re-evaluate it all next year and if it doesn’t seem there is a need, the program will be canceled permanently.
