The Canadian Food Inspection Agency has issued a recall on beef jelly tongue products which could have been sold in the Stratford and London area.

Huron-Perth Public Health and the CFIA are advising people who may have purchased brands of Beef Jelly Tongue to not consume, use, sell or serve the product.

Certain brands are being recalled due to Listeria monocytogenes contamination.

Those who have purchased the affected product should dispose of it and if they’ve already consumed it to monitor for symptoms of illness.
