Wellington County has now implemented Automated Speed Enforcement cameras in some school and Community Safety Zones on County roads.
The one year pilot program is designed to curb speeding, alter driver behavior and increase safety in the community.
Coming Soon signs were installed 90 days prior to going live with the safety zones being identified based on criteria developed during the County’s Road Master Action Plan study.
