The Ontario government is giving an over $140,000 boost to support the Ausable Bayfield Conservation Authority to enhance 21 wetlands.

The investment comes from the Wetlands Conservation Partner Program and Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks which has supported 330 wetlands conservation projects including the restoration and enhancement of the 21 sites with the ABCA.

Huron Bruce MPP Lisa Thompson says wetlands are an important part of local conservation efforts, laying the foundation for more resilient land and water management in the future.
