The Municipality of North Perth announced today that due to unforeseen mechanical issues at the Atwood Lions Pool, there will be a delay in opening the facility.
They had planned on having it opened for June 21st but staff and contractors are working on rectifying the problem and the planned date is not possible.
North Perth goes on to say they understand the importance of this amenity to the community and they say they will work diligently to expedite the repairs.
They will release more information as it becomes available. The Programs Department has contacted swimming lesson registrants to reschedule their lessons.
