Halloween this year is going to be very different.
Keeping safe is going to be key this season and the Atwood Lions are coming in at their Witches Walk to help make sure kids will still be indulging their sweet tooth this year. The Atwood Lions are offering 500 bags of candy for kids on Halloween night with a drive thru pickup of goody bags. Lions member Mike McCourt says this is just another great idea to have for kids who might not be heading door to door this year.
“Having kids going door to door it might not be the right thing to do this year. So for kids that aren’t going to be able to go door to door how are they going to have a Halloween experience? We were moving Witches Walk out of the bushes and into the parking lot.” said McCourt.
Candy bags can be picked up Halloween night at the Elma Community Center parking lot. Individuals and Businesses can donate to help cover the cost of the candy bags and will receive special recognition for doing so.
