Heading to North Perth council tonight is the hopeful approval of the purchase of one new wheel loader.
The current 2011 holland tractor loader has reached the end of its life cycle with an upgrade needed to allow for more functionality and address the growing needs in Atwood.
Currently the Atwood loader is used for loading salt and sand in the winter and for road building, tree removal and material handling for the summer.
Heading to council, the purchase of the wheel loader with attachments from Brandt Tractor Ltd from London will come at a cost of $281,000.
