As North Perth residents continue to be encouraged to provide their thoughts on allowing the use of ATV’s on North Perth Trails, local advocates are holding an event this weekend encouraging all to attend so they get all the information they need.
Shawn Thompson, the President of the North Perth & District ATV Club is rallying support this Saturday at the Canadian Tire parking lot with food available from Big Dogg and music by Johnny Borton.
Thompson says they are aware of the issues raised by those against allowing ATVs on the trails but says they are there to listen and address those issues.
“We understand the concerns. If anybody has concerns reach out to us. We try to be unbiased as we can, we get it there are some safety issues. ATV’s are a huge business its boomed since COVID” Thompson
The event this Saturday begins at 11:30am.
The ATV survey is available on Your Say North Perth until May 31st.
