AstraZeneca Recipients May Receive 2nd Dose of Any Approved Kind

Ontario will now officially allow the mix and matching of different COVID-19 vaccines.

As of June 4^th following guidelines set from the National Advisory Committee on Immunization Ontarians who received a first dose of Astrazeneca will be eligible to receive another dose of AstraZeneca, Pfizer or Moderna.

The 2^nd dose options will be available at the recommended 12 week interval.

Ontario’s top doctor says its critical for those who received AstraZeneca as their first dose to continue to book and go forward with a 2^nd dose.
