Arthur Library holding Valentine’s Day Event Friday on Local History

Event from 2 to 3 pm in the Carnegie Cafe features Kyle Smith from the Wellington County Museum showcasing artifacts from the local archives.

 

The Wellington County Library will be shedding some light on the history of Valentine’s Day with Kyle Smith from the Wellington County Museum and Archives speaking on its history from a local perspective at the Arthur Library Branch Friday.

Kyle speaks to what attendees are in store for.

“We do like the history of Valentine’s Day. We have cards and things from the archives so showing some of those stuff. Talk about where they came from, why we do these things, and sort of what Valentine’s Day is all about through the lends of some of the interesting stuff we have kicking around the Museum.”

The event is Friday, February 10th from 2 to 3 pm in the Carnegie Cafe.
