The Arthur and Area Curling Club has received a boost from the province.
$251,485 has been given to the curling club coming from the province’s Ministry of Sport’s Community Sport and Recreation Infrastructure Fund.
The funding will help ensure the community continues to have a safe and adequate area to enjoy events and curling.
Perth-Wellington MPP Matthew Rae says this investment will help ensure curling enthusiasts and residents in and around Wellington North may use the facility for years to come.
The funding for the club will replace concrete flooring, piping systems and boards.
