A plaque unveiling ceremony honouring local newsman Art Carr will be hosted next month the Palmerston Lions Heritage Park.
Carr, who held various titles from printer to publisher at the former Palmerston Observer.
Carr also owned the paper from 1938-1977 and was among the first inductees in the Ontario Community Newspaper Association Hall of Fame in 2020.
The ceremony will take place June 14th with a gathering will take place at 5:30pm with the ceremony starting at 6.
In the event of poor weather, visitors will gather in the Lions Den.
