The Stratford Police were contacted on Saturday, February 5th just before 8pm regarding a home invasion robbery that had just occurred at a home on O’Loane Avenue in Stratford.
Police learned that a group of unknown males forcibly entered the home while brandishing what looked like a handgun demanding money from the victims.

Police arrested all five occupants of the vehicle, males 15, 16, 17, 23 and 24 years of age. All were from Kitchener except the 24 year old from Brampton.
The group was also charged with other incidents that had occurred within Waterloo Region over the previous days. The five were then transported to Stratford Police Headquarters where they are held in custody.
Charges laid as a result of the Stratford incident include robbery with a firearm, using an imitation firearm during an offence (found to be pellet gun), forcible entry and confinement, wearing a mask during an offence, possession of property obtained by crime and numerous breaches of conditions.
