It was another successful year for the Minto Farmers Market who recapped their numbers at council on Tuesday.
Luke Hartung says their vendor numbers crew again with 26 rotating vendors with 6 full season vendors bringing a blend of farmers and local artisans.
Among more success for the Farmers Market has been trivia night fundraisers which Hartung adds they’ve been able to give back some of those proceeds.
“We do our annual trivia night fundraisers, last year we raised just shy of $3000, we surpassed what we wanted for our own ventures so we donated $1130 to the Palmerston MRI campaign. We’re still having trivia nights for 2025 since they happen over the winter. So far we’ve raised $2500 and we still have one to go on March 28th” said Hartung
The start of this seasons Minto Farmers Market is set for June 7th.
