A 1-1 weekend for the Listowel Cyclones who on Friday were able to tie the game at the Steve with just under 5 minutes left in the 3rd period and secure the shootout winner 6-5 over Kitchener-Waterloo.
Alex McGillivray banked a hat trick in the win for Listowel, including the third period tying goal. Carter McDougall stopped 34 shots in net.
The Siskins would equal out on the weekend though, blanking the Cyclones 5-0 on Sunday in their barn,
Listowel will play a home-home series against Ayr on Thursday and Friday before breaking for Christmas. The Cylones will host the Centennials on Friday.
