The North Perth Annual Maitland River Cleanup is taking place next weekend.
The Middle Maitland Rejuvenation Committee is holding the cleanup from 9am-12pm on April 26th with a meetup at the North Perth Municipal Office.
The event acts as a great chance for students in need of volunteer hours as well as anyone who wants to cleanup and make a difference in the community.
Garbage bags will be given and sections across the river are divided for cleanup.
Those attending are asked to wear solid footwear and gloves.
