Statistics Canada say the annual pace of inflation remained steady in November as the consumer price index rose 4.7 per cent when compared to a year ago.
The result shows a year over year increase in October, the largest in consumer price since February of 2003.
One of the biggest key factors in the inflation for November was again gas prices which leaped 43.6 per cent. Without gas prices the inflation rate would been 3.6 per cent.
Also seeing a rise was the price of food and in furniture.
