An information night with the Avon Maitland District School Board regarding French Immersion will be held Tuesday night.
French Immersion is an optional program which allows students to provide both education and development of language at a higher proficiency.
Grades 1-8 offers all classroom subjects to be taught in French with the exception of Math and English. Grades 9-12 offer 10 courses in French and allows for students to select all ten courses over the time of secondary school and obtain a French Immersion certificate.
The session will be held virtually from 7-8pm. More information is available from the school boards website.
