The Avon-Maitland District Schoolboard and parents will learn this afternoon if students will continue with online learning or not.
Most students are expected to return to class Monday January 25th, an announcement made back in December before stay-at-home orders were issued. With new restrictions its unclear if students will have extended online learning or returning to in person instruction.
While announcing the stay-at-home orders, Premier Ford said schools with no major outbreaks would be expected to return to class. The Minister of Education and Chief Medical Officer of Health will provide more clarity this afternoon.
