Its expected during a board meeting today the Avon Maitland District School Board will approve next years school calendar.
As it currently stands the first day of classes will be on Wednesday September 4th with the last day on June 27th.
The Christmas break runs from December 23rd-January 3rd with March Break on March 10th-14th.
Seven PA Days are also slotted for the school year and follows a similar calendar to the Huron-Perth Catholic District School Board which was approved in February.
The Ministry of Education requires 194 school days.
