Longtime Avon Maitland District School Board Trustee, Colleen Schenk has won the Presidents Award.
The award recognizes trustees who have given at least 25 years of service for public education. Schenk has also received the Dr. Harry Paikin Memorial Award which is given to an active or retired public school trustee for their outstanding service.
Schenk has been a longtime AMDSB trustee and former Chair and Vice-Chair.
Schenk is currently serving her 6th term on the school board representing North Huron, Morris-Turnberry and Howick.
