As students get closer to the winter break, the Avon Maitland District School Board has sent out a letter to parents on things to keep in mind while their child enjoys time off school.
The school board saying for parents and their child to adhere to public health safety measures and to not send their child back to school when the break is over if they are not feeling well.
Self-screening in schools will continue going into the new year as well requiring masks and physical distancing between other students and staff.
