The Alzheimer Society of Perth and Huron Counties announced collectively today that the two Regions have merged into one.
Nancy Walker, Chair of the Board of Directors of the Alzheimer Society of Huron Perth says the unification of the two societies makes sense in so many ways. It allows them to combine resources to support as many people in Huron and Perth Counties as possible.
The benefits they say include consistency of programs and services across the two regions, more specialized roles for their staff and decreased infrastructure duplication.
Nancy Walker is the Chair of the Board of Directors for the Unified Board and the Executive Director is Cathy Ritsema.
They advise that for clients, donors and volunteers the vital work will continue as usual.
