While it was originally said Peavy Mart would only be closing 21 locations, its since been learned every location in Canada will be shutting their doors.
Last week it was learned 21 locations, including in Mount Forest would close as the company said it was to restructure and position itself for future sustainability.
Staff at all Peavy Marts were informed Monday all stores would close.
The company saying in a statement, the Canadian retail industry is experiencing unprecedented challenges including record low consumer confidence, inflationary pressures, rising operating costs and ongoing supply disruptions along with a difficult regulatory environment.
