The Palmerston Fair kicks off this weekend and the agricultural society has started things off on a positive note.
During Wednesday’s Ambassador program, the Palmerston Agricultural Society provided a donation of $50,000 towards the Palmerston & District Hospital Foundation’s MRI Campaign.
The MRI Committee says the MRI will be a regional service and work for all of rural Wellington County and beyond with the recent donation helping make it a reality.
A goal of $8 million has been set by the committee.
