Stratford is getting a boost to the tune of $4 million in provincial and federal funding for its affordable housing project.
Perth-Wellington MPP Matthew Rae says $3 million is being put forward from both governments for 33 of the 62 units of Stratford’s Britannia Street Affordable Housing Project.
Another $1 million is being invested from the province for six one and two bedroom apartments.
Currently the housing project has seen a strong level of support from the public and as it currently stands due to the interest in the apartments, applications are not available but is subject to change.
