An Aberfoyle student has proved himself and showcased the Upper Grand District School at the Canada-Wide Science Fair held in Alberta.
Wesley G is a grade 7 student who took part in the country’s largest annual youth STEM event bringing the top young innovators across the country from grades 7-12.
Wesley brought his project about milk freshness which is focused on testing milk before tossing it.
Wesley was one of 390 students competing who was awarded a gold medal for being one of the top 10 projects in the junior category.
He also was given a Challenge award as the top agriculture project in Canada in the junior category.
