One person has been rescued from a submerged vehicle in Guelph Lake.
On August 2nd at around 10:15pm, OPP were called to a crash on Wellington Road 29 in Guelph-Eramosa when a vehicle had flipped onto its roof and was partially submerged in the lake and the driver trapped.
A bystander traveling through the area went to the rescue who managed to cut the seat belt of the driver and safely remove them by the time police arrived.
There was no reported injuries when the driver lost control of their vehicle.
A 54 year old of Guelph has been charged with Unsafe Move Lane or Shoulder who will appear in court at a later date.
