Celebrating its 75th anniversary, Maitland Conservation has issued the 75 minute challenge.
The hiking challenge is one of several initiatives planned over the year to celebrate the anniversary.
All are welcome to hike through the forest trails owned by the conservation authority with participants being able to submit an online entry through the conservation website for a chance to win one of three prize packages.
Stewart Lockie, Conservation Areas Coordinator says the 75 Minute Hiking Challenge is a fun way to celebrate our anniversary while enjoying the natural spaces that conservation efforts have helped to protect and maintain.
The contest is open until December 16th.
